The Sweertwater Kiwanis teams had the pleasure of Mr. Small talking about his baseball career and how God influenced him during a time when he thought his career was ending. Aaron told us how God took a man at the sunset of his career who was propelled to the pinnacle of Major League Baseball to be a mouthpiece of God to proclaim the great providence of God.
Aaron spoke of his praying wife who lifted him. She reminded Aaron of their daily prayers and how God's plan outweighs our own thoughts, opinions and plans we have for our life.
Aaron told about his struggled to rely on God, but ultimately gave in and trusted God to forge his path. He expressed how we can never truly on ourselves, but should rely on God to guide our steps.
